Increased 5G system complexity brings many RF hardware design challenges. These include a dramatic increase in the number of RF components, complex carrier aggregation, massive MIMO, and antenna beam forming schemes to achieve higher data rates. 5G systems must also support more frequency bands and wider bandwidth in a smaller size.
