DALLAS, TX – February 2, 2016 – Active-Semi, Inc. and IAR Systems (www.iar.com) announced today the availability of IAR Embedded Workbench® for ARM® with support for Active-Semi's Power Application Controller® (PAC) ICs targeting BLDC and High-voltage AC motor control applications. The new support now enables developers to design Class-B Safety applications with Active-Semi's high-performance 600V PAC5250, PAC5253 and PAC5255 ICs, evaluation kits and prequalified IEC 60730 Class-B Safety libraries while working with the powerful, highly-optimized development toolchain IAR Embedded Workbench offered by IAR Systems.
