For many companies, the challenge of transforming a novel idea into a scalable, market-ready solution lies in finding the right mix of technical capability, strategic collaboration and forward-looking technology. For Algorized, a tech company focused on people-sensing AI, that mix came together through a close partnership with Qorvo and its advanced Ultra-Wideband (UWB) solutions.

Algorized specializes in real-time, non-intrusive sensing of human presence, movement and even vital signs. Their mission is to empower devices and environments to understand and respond to people, not just detect them. This bold vision has been made possible in large part by the precision and reliability of Qorvo’s UWB radar technology.

“At Algorized, we build people-sensing AI. It combines advanced algorithms with Qorvo’s UWB solution to sense human presence, movement and vital signs in real time,” said Algorized CEO Natalya Lopareva. “Qorvo’s UWB solution supplies the granular range data that enables our AI to detect presence, movement and vital signs with high precision.”

This level of accuracy comes from UWB’s ability to operate at extremely high frequencies, providing centimeter-level range resolution with minimal interference and low power consumption. As described in Qorvo’s UWB radar blog, the technology extends beyond location tracking to enable advanced sensing capabilities that are difficult to achieve with Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi or other radio technologies.

For Algorized, UWB enabled a leap from concept to real-world capability. Qorvo’s involvement played a critical role beyond supplying hardware.

“Qorvo’s engineering support and consistent roadmap have been essential,” Lopareva adds. “Their field teams helped us accelerate from prototype to scalable people-sensing platform, interoperable deployments across multiple industries.”

That cross-industry scalability is key to the value of Algorized’s solution. People-sensing technologies are becoming increasingly important in sectors such as smart buildings, automotive, healthcare and retail. Qorvo’s UWB solutions provide the secure, high-resolution data platform needed for Algorized’s AI to deliver reliable performance in demanding environments.

At the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Qorvo demonstrated how UWB is enabling new categories of intuitive, responsive technologies. In on-site video demos, applications included contactless vital sign monitoring and gesture-based interfaces. These use cases reflect the direction the technology is heading, and Algorized’s platform fits well within that vision: passive, accurate and human-centric.

“We’re especially excited about Qorvo’s radar-enabled UWB chips,” Lopareva said. “Sensors will be able to interpret human presence, intent, and well-being with precision and privacy.”

This emphasis on privacy is an increasingly important differentiator. UWB-based radar sensing does not rely on cameras or microphones. It uses radio waves to detect subtle changes in position, movement and respiration. As a result, Algorized’s solutions can be used in private environments such as bedrooms, healthcare facilities and commercial spaces, where visual or audio sensors may not be appropriate.

What began as a collaboration between a forward-thinking AI company and a UWB technology leader has grown into a compelling example of innovation in action. Algorized and Qorvo are showing how advanced sensing can be achieved with precision, reliability, and a shared commitment to improving the way people interact with technology.
