GREENSBORO, N.C., June 16, 2025 – Qorvo® (Nasdaq: QRVO), a leading global provider of connectivity and power solutions, today introduced two advanced RF components tailored for the increasing demand for higher performance, tighter integration, and more compact radio designs in 5G massive MIMO (mMIMO) and fixed wireless access (FWA) deployments.
“As 5G networks scale, our customers face increasing pressure to shrink radio footprints, improve thermal performance and simplify design,” said Debbie Gibson, director of Qorvo's Wireless Infrastructure Business. “With both our high-efficiency pre-driver technology and compact, high-rejection BAW filters, Qorvo delivers trusted RF building blocks that enable high-performance mMIMO, FWA and other 5G applications.”
The QPQ3550 is a compact, high-performance BAW filter operating in the 3.55–3.7 GHz CBRS band, ideal for customer premises equipment (CPE), FWA nodes, small cells and multiband radios supporting next-generation broadband platforms. With growing demand for FWA applications, the QPQ3550 serves as a drop-in solution that combines industry-leading performance with a compact footprint to accelerate high-volume 5G deployment. It leverages Qorvo’s multi-generation bulk acoustic wave (BAW) technology, delivering superior insertion loss, power handling and enhanced thermal reliability.
