Qorvo's CGR0118Z is an InGaP HBT (HBT8D) push-pull amplifier in an SOIC-8 package. It is designed for ultra-linear (low multi-carrier distortion) reverse path high gain amplification up to +50dBmV per RF output channel. This makes it ideal for use in multiple dwelling unit (MDU) amplifiers, low cost Line Extenders (LEs), cable Head End (HE) reverse path receivers, residential gateways (RGs), and cable modems (CMs).The CGR0118Z's performance at 5MHz to 65MHz with -80dBc Composite Second Order (CSO), operating voltage of +5VDC to +12VDC, and 1.6W DC power dissipation is unmatched. Built with Qorvo's propietary InGaP HBT process technology known as HBT8D, the CGR0118Z means best-in-class CSO performance.
